Reagan Library

Last weekend we went to the Reagan library with Chris' family. We had never been before and it was very interesting and informative (and very hot out!!) =D We were able to go inside Reagan's Air Force One plane and we also went on a tour of the library and the grounds which I think helped you get a lot more out of it.....boy do they have a lot to memorize! We also saw a couple of videos, and they even had the booth and table setting from when Reagan and Nancy met and then got engaged, Reagan bought the booth and even the linens. I also found out Reagan was one of only 4 Presidents to keep a journal during presidency, he wrote in it every day except a few times he was in the hospital. He had 17 leather bond journals at the end of his presidency. What I found surprising is that there were only 4 presidents who kept journals! You'd think you'd have a lot to write about and a lot to remember if you were President. Anyway, here are the pics from our day.
